Más de 800 personas disfrutaron de la semana de actuaciones del Festival Blues At Moonlight
Más de 800 personas han asistido a los distintos conciertos que la cuarta edición del Festival Blues At Moonlight ha ofrecido del 5 al 14 de noviembre en la Costa del Sol. Destacando sin duda las grandes citas en el Hotel Sunset Beach de Benalmádena con una asistencia en torno a las 500 personas durante el pasado fin de semana, donde destacó la calidad de las actuaciones y el gran ambiente que se ha podido disfrutar durante su extenso programa.
El festival se consolida ya este año como cita obligada para todos los amantes de la música en directo en general y en especial de los aficionados al Rhythm and Blues, Rock and Roll y Swing más genuino.
Resulta difícil destacar alguna de las 8 actuaciones sobre otra, ya que cada una nos ha ofrecido diferentes estilos del género. Pero si quisiera señalar la espectacular actuación de los tejanos Nick Curran (que parece haber superado el cáncer de lengua que ha padecido recientemente) y sus Lowlifes que, por primera vez en España, han demostrado porque son considerados el “mayor artefacto de Rock and Roll americano del momento” ya que su potencia, velocidad y energía dejaron boquiabiertos a todos los asistentes que pudimos resistir su explosiva fuerza.

Blues at Moonlight Festival – over 800 people enjoyed the week of concerts and performances
More than 800 people attended the various concerts of the 4th edition of Blues at Moonlight on the Costa del Sol between the 5th and 14th of November. The highlights of the festival were the performances held last weekend in Hotel Sunset Beach in Benalmádena with an audience of approximately 500. The quality of the concerts was second to none and the atmosphere electric.
The festival has now established itself as a must attend for all live music lovers and especially for fans of the most cutting edge Rhythm and Blues, Rock and Roll and Swing.
It’s a difficult task to say which of the 8 concerts was the most memorable as each was unique in its own style. However, special mention must be made of the explosive performance by Nick Curran, who seems to have beaten the fight against a recent cancer of the mouth, and his band the Lowlifes, performing for the first time in Spain. With an incredible energy, speed and power which blew the audience away, they certainly demonstrated why they’re America’s most sensational Rock and Roll band of today.
