Fronted by season 5 American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry, Daughtry is a rock band that has reached great popularity since releasing their 2006 debut record, "Daughtry". This album, which includes such hits as "It's Not Over" and "Home", sold over 4 million copies and was named Billboard's number one selling album of 2007. Fueled by the popularity of the show American Idol, Daughtry has proven that this show can provide just the right stepping stone to begin a highly successful career in the rock and roll industry.

Since 2007, Daughtry has been playing in concert on a seemingly non stop tour that has included stops all around the world including the recent American Freedom Festival this past November. Daughtry has opened for such popular bands as Nickelback, Puddle of Mudd and Finger Eleven, and even had a brief stint opening for the legendary rock and roll band Bon Jovi. They have received numerous awards and were even nominated for 3 Grammys in 2008 and because of these prestigious recognitions, Daughtry has truly aquired the respect they deserve as a rock and roll band.
