Zebra is a hard rocking band who first gained recognition through playing Led Zeppelin, Rush and Moody Blues songs in clubs and bars up and down the East Coast of the United States. They had quite a following of fans who would come see them in concert, especially in Long Island, NY. Eventually, Zebra released an album of their own songs in 1983. The self titled album would be the first of 8 albums that Zebra would go onto release in the years to come. Zebra was on tour through much of the 80's, but in the 90's the band went through some ups and downs and broke up for a period of time. They released a new album in the 2003, Zebra IV, and in 2010 they were inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
