Raised during the despair of the Great Depression, Tony Bennett is an uber classy performer who rose from the clutches of poverty to become one of the greatest and most successful singers of all time. Tony Bennett has a style of singing that is best exemplified with the way he sings show tunes, standards and jazz, and his career has been full of winning numerous awards and gaining a popularity that spans the generations.

Tony Bennett is an artist that has truly stood the test of time. His career hit its pinnacle during the 1950's with popular songs like "Because of You" and "Rags to Riches" and came full circle in the early 60's with his 1962 signature song "I Left My Heart in San Francisco". For a period of time throughout the late 1960's and 1970's, his career seemed to be at a standstill because of being forced out of popularity by rock and roll, but he made an amazing comback with a younger, MTV crowd during the 1980's and 1990's.

Throughout Tony Bennett's decade spanning career, he has been on tour to play in concert to adoring fans around the world. He showcased his talents that express his continuing relevancy of today when he shared a double bill with jazz legend Diana Krall during the Blackcreek Music Festival earlier in 2011.
