Her music has won her 4 Grammy Awards, including the 1990 Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance and the 1993 Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her song "Constant Craving". Along with creating music that has earned her adoring fans who long to see her play in concert while on tour, K.D. Lang is also very well known for her charity work for gay rights, animal rights and Tibetan human rights, the latter of which she practices through Tibetan Buddhism.
