Multi talented indie rock musician Andrew Bird not only has the ability to write amazing songs, but he also has the talents to play a variety of musical instruments. Andrew Bird has a degree in violin performance, and along with being an astute violinist, Andrew Bird also has great talent with instruments like the guitar and the glockenspiel. When Andrew Bird first hit the music scene he recorded 3 albums with his group Bowl of Fire, but then he eventually embarked on a solo career in 2003 when Bowl of Fire broke up. As a solo artist, Andrew Bird released 7 albums, plus he is know for his contributions to other musicians' like Ani DiFranco and Squirrel Nut Zippers. Over the years, Andrew Bird has played in concert while on tour impressing his fans with his indie instrumental music, and he is certain to remain a relevant artist for many years to come.
